Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK)

Probably one of the most important items you can carry on your body armor kit for an active-shooter scenario, the Individual First Aid Kit provides all of the medical gear to respond to life-threatening trauma injuries. However, it is just as important to know how and when to use each of these items as it is to carry them. The kit includes:

  • 1x Quikclot Bleeding Control Dressing - Z Fold

  • 1x Responder Blue Gloves - Large

  • 1x Hyfin (Vented) Chest Seal Dressing - Compact Twin Pack

  • 1x Trauma Shears - Large

  • 1x Emergency Survival Blanket

  • 1x Responder Emergency Trauma Dressing - 6"

Predator Armor's purpose is to provide high quality gear to American citizens - but with that we also promote all individuals to seek high-level training to be able to use their gear and tools to the highest capabilities. Become proficient in first-responder requirements - it will save lives.

You can purchase an IFAK in a combo-package with the Predator Armor IFAK Pouch, or purchase an IFAK separately to stow in a personal pouch.

Combat Application Tourniquet (CAT) Gen 7
Tourniquets are used to temporarily stop blood flow to an extremity for a short period of time in order to prevent life-threatening external bleeding. Usually placed 2"-4" above the wound site, it is important to be sure to place the tourniquet over a bone and avoid placing it over a joint. The main purpose of a tourniquet is to stop blood-flow, so the squeeze needs to be painfully tight to the point where bleeding has ceased. To see the proper way to self-administer the Combat Application Tourniquet, check out the video instructions here.

The official tourniquet of the United States Army, the Combat Application Tourniquet (CAT) is known as one of the quickest, safest, and most effective tourniquet options on the market. The CAT can be administered with one hand easily and features reinforced windlass, stabilization plate, windlass clip, and writeable windlass security strap.

Tourniquet Holder
Tourniquets are a critical piece of equipment to carry with you on your plate carrier or battle belt. They are an important potential life saving piece of medical equipment that everybody should have with them and know how to use. When stopping the bleed seconds can matter. The tourniquet holder is designed to allow you to carry a tourniquet and make it as accessible as possible. The tourniquet sleeve attaches via velcro and can be connected in a variety of places. The flexibility of the tourniquet holder allows you to carry a tourniquet in a variety of ways so that it works with your plate carrier setup. It also allows for easy use with a battle belt connecting with hook and loop. The tourniquet holder is the most effective way to carry a tourniquet.
