Listen to the ring when you hit your steel gong. Steel targest provide audible feedback that last over and over again. Our full set of gongs includes a: 6", 8", 10" and 12" gong. Our AR500 steel gongs are made from high quality ballistically rated USA made AR500 steel. It is not standard cheap AR500 that does not have a high enough brinell hardness and not hold up to rifle calibers. Our AR500 metal is designed and built to stop bullets. The AR500 steel shooting targets are made in the USA. Our gongs are made from 3/8" thick AR500 metal to provide a long lasting target. Once one side starts to show some wear flip the target around to get more life out of it.

Powder Coated

All of our AR500 gong targets are powder coated. This provides a clean and professional finish to the target. It also makes it much easier to see. Most of our competition sells raw metal that will rust and need a paint job. We save you the hassle and send you a range ready steel target.

Mounting and Compatibility

Our steel gongs come with three 1/2" square mounting holes in the target so they can accept carriage bolts. Carriage bolts are the best option for hanging your steel targets. They have a square head so you only need one wrench to tighten the bolts. They also have a flatter head than standard bolts which minimizes ricochet. By including three holes it allows you to hang it on a t-post, 2x4, or with straps/chains. Many steel gongs only include two mounting holes which does not allow you to hang the steel gong targets on a t-post or 2x4. We wanted to provide the maximum amount of flexibility and convenience for the end user.
